muta[tion]

Remember that terrible closet constructed of panelling that had been added in the front bedroom of the house? Well, if not, this should remind you:


Well the major issue with it was the fact that it never really 'fit' in the room. Our original plan was to cover it with drywall, and at least try to make it look like part of the house, but in the end we chose to tear it out! There is a small closet (as you can see in the photo) to the left of it, that has built-in shelving. My mom has bought us an antique wardrobe to go in this room for proper storage! An anniversary & Christmas gift wrapped in to one. We are quite excited, and will post photos once we retrieve it from Walterboro.

In the meantime, here's a picture of the room sans closet...


Sorry for that stove and washing machine in the way, things are still a little out of sorts.
