Weekend Celebra[tion]s

As most of you know, the beginning of March is quite busy in the birthday department for us! Not only does Ellie turn 2 today, but Brian’s birthday is tomorrow, and his sister Kathryn’s birthday is Wednesday! So we went to Georgia for the weekend to spend time with Brian’s family, and then came back home by way of Spartanburg to celebrate with Ellie.

Georgia was packed with fun, starting with a Mardi Gras party at The Wayfarer, shopping at Sanders Furniture Company to find new master bedroom furniture, a visit to the Art Guild where they were having an exhibit of elementary students artwork featuring pieces by our nieces Rosalyn & Wallis, and topping it off with a delicious dinner hosted by Kathryn to celebrate she & Brian’s birthdays! Then Sunday we spent the afternoon at Ellie’s birthday party, which was all Minnie Mouse:

We also had everyone color a picture of Ellie, that we then compiled into a bound book to serve as a guestlist for her second birthday party... someday she'll look back and see all the people who came to her party!
