It's a special day! We bought our house ONE YEAR AGO today! Can you believe it? Of course we haven't lived in our house for a year. Actually, we haven't even lived in our house for 6 months. BUT. We closed on our house a year ago. Technicalities.

I don't know if it's because I look for ANY reason to celebrate, or if this is actually a big milestone, but I am super-excited about this anniversary, and I felt the need to have a cookout or a birthday party for 54 or something! Unfortunately that didn't quite work out, but Brian and I did have a nice dinner together, I brought home brownies from work, and he even made homemade cookies...

Or at least cookie dough! We haven't actually made the cookies yet. The dough is in the 'chillin' stage. We'll let you know tomorrow how they turn out!
