There have been a few bumps in the road here and there. I won't go into that, since pet-ownership is so rewarding right? And there's no need to harp on the bad, but rather focus on the good. I'll just say that they are no longer allowed in the Master Suite. ;)
They stay in the office when we go to bed at night, and their routine is typically to come out for an hour or so in the morning, while we get ready for work and then they get fed and have a treat when we leave for work, where again they are confined to the office. We sometimes come home for lunch which allows them another hour out and about in the house, and yet another treat to go back to their room. Once we are home from work, we all have a play session and they typically do laps around the house to release all that pent-up energy.
And here's a peak at the little girl (prior to being banished from the bedroom). She looks normal, right? Checking out my nightstand.
But then, this crazy thing happens...
We are having difficulty completely handing over our home to litter boxes, cat toys, and scratching posts, even though those are all necessities. So I've been exploring modern options for cats, and even created a Pinterest board specifically for cat product finds. Here are some of my pins (in my dreams, since cost is an issue yet again!). How cool would it be to have these modern cat products in your home?

|scratch lounger, gehry anyone?|
So that's our life with cat's for now. It's been a lifestyle change for sure, since we've had to 'kitty-proof' our home, and we have these two beings that depend on us for shelter, food, and love!
