Charleston adora[tion] - Sept 2, 2011

It's Friday! That means is time for another installment of 'why I love Charleston'. Each week, I'm trying to write about one thing that I love about my city. The goal is that it is something unique to Charleston, and I have to visit that place within the week that I write about it. Which is getting hard to do! And I must admit this post is going to be a little lame. I'll go ahead and put that out there! Why lame, you ask?

I haven't done anything exciting this week, but work. Boo. And even though this isn't necessarily one of my favorite places in Charleston (because really, who can say their workplace is one of their favorite places? If you can, I'm envious), but it is pretty cool that I can sit at my desk and see this view...

Ok, so it's actually more impressive from the desks along the window. Let's take a closer look, shall we?

There are drawbacks however, like when the weather gets nice and everyone is out on their boats, having a good time, and there you are, staring out the window dreaming it was you.

And then, say you have a meeting, and you need to use the conference room. Pure torture, because the view is even better when you walk to the conference room...

It's easy to get distracted between the boats, the kayakers, and the draw bridge going up and down.

Sadly enough, this is what I stare at most of the day, so don't be too envious!

Sheesh, what a mess! I promise that next week I will actually get out there and see something! Have a great Labor Day weekend, ya'll! No work for 3 days straight! Woohoo!
