affec[tion] for football, family, and Fall!

I haven't addressed the fact that Clemson lost this past weekend. So sad. I'm almost over it. Almost.

So today, I'm going to take you back to a happier time, when my team was 7-0. Undefeated. Then we went to see them play UNC, our second trip to Clemson this season. We started the weekend in Spartanburg, and we took the kittens!

Here is Rudy becoming acquainted with my sister's pet tiger.

It was actually a lot of fun having my cousin Matthew and his girlfriend Sara, also staying with us at my sister and Brad's. We had to get up SUPER EARLY to make the trip from Spartanburg to Clemson. I think we were in Clemson by 8am! Because this had to be taken care of...

We tried to share the full experience with Matthew & Sara, who had never been to Clemson before. So we took them to the Tiger Walk. I didn't get very good photos of the players this time, so I'll share the ones I got of all of us!

And the Tiger...

The leaves were starting to change in the upstate...

And can you believe it, of all the things we wanted my cousin to see, RUNNING DOWN THE HILL, what Clemson is known for! We MISSED it! I think this is the first time that I've been standing outside of the stadium when the team buses arrived. Ugh.

We were way up in the stands! But what a view from there!

And we won! 8 and 0, baby! (Too bad we lost this past week to Georgia Tech).

And the view leaving the stadium...

After the game, we headed back to Spartanburg, and had Sunday to spend out at my mom's house. Here are a few photos from her yard on the lake...

And there's Ellie! Looking forward to seeing her this weekend!!
